I help Boards and leadership teams understand what’s getting in the way, make confident decisions and build stronger organizations.

Diagnose

Understand the organization before deciding what to change.

Independent organizational assessment that identifies what is working, what is not, the underlying causes and the priorities that matter most.

Stabilize

Turn diagnosis into practical organizational change.

Interim leadership, restructuring and implementation support for organizations that need experienced capacity to address problems, strengthen systems and move forward.

Strengthen

Build the systems and capacity that make improvement last. Practical structures, management tools and organizational systems that clarify accountability, improve decision-making and leave the organization better equipped for what comes next.

When organizations call me

Something isn't working.

But the real problem isn't always clear.

Organizations rarely become complicated all at once. Growth outpaces systems. Roles become unclear. Decisions accumulate. Boards become more involved in operations. Leaders spend increasing amounts of time responding to immediate problems instead of moving the organization forward.
Sometimes the organization is struggling. Sometimes it is growing. Sometimes a leadership transition simply exposes problems that have been developing for years.
My work begins by determining what is actually happening — and what needs to happen next.

You may need help when . . .

Operational Instability

Important work is falling through the cracks, accountabilities are unclear, or leadership is constantly responding to urgent problems.

Organizational Complexity

The organization has grown or changed, but its systems, structure and management practices have not kept pace.

Leadership Transition

Your Executive Director or senior leader is leaving, and the Board needs experienced leadership while determining what comes next.

Change Without Capacity

You know what needs to change, but the organization does not currently have the leadership capacity or systems to make it happen.

Board Concern

The Board knows there are organizational issues but needs an independent view of their causes, significance and priorities.

How I help

Organizational Assessment

Get clear on what needs to change.

When concerns keep surfacing but the underlying problem remains unclear, it is difficult to know where to focus—or which decisions to make.

I bring an independent executive perspective to the organization’s governance, operations, finances and capacity. My work gives Boards and leaders a grounded understanding of what is happening, which issues matter most and what needs attention next.

You gain clear priorities and practical recommendations to support confident decisions.

Let’s discuss what you need to understand about your organization.

Interim Leadership & Organizational Change

Keep the organization moving when leadership capacity is stretched.

A leadership departure, persistent operational problems or significant change can leave an organization needing more than advice. It needs someone who can take responsibility and move the work forward.

I bring experience in executive leadership, organizational restructuring and operational stabilization. I provide hands-on leadership for Boards and teams that need to restore stability, address pressing problems and prepare for what comes next.

The focus is on continuity, clear accountability and meaningful progress.

Tell me what your organization is navigating. We can discuss the leadership support it needs.

Governance & Organizational Capacity

Give good people the structure to do good work.

Committed people can only carry an organization so far when responsibilities are unclear, systems are inconsistent or important knowledge lives in someone’s head.

I help organizations strengthen the foundations that support their work: governance, management structures, financial oversight, people practices and program accountability.

My experience connects the Board’s responsibilities with the realities of running an organization. The result is clearer expectations, stronger oversight and practical tools that support consistent decisions and follow-through.

Let’s discuss what would help your organization work with greater clarity and confidence.

How I work

Clear diagnosis. Practical action. Stronger organizations.

I listen to leaders, staff and the Board, examine the evidence and connect the issues across the organization. The first task is to understand the causes and agree on the priorities.

01 / Understand
Evidence before assumptions

Together, we turn the findings into a manageable plan. I can step into interim leadership, stabilize urgent issues and work alongside your team to put the changes into practice.

02 / Act
Practical priorities

The goal is to leave the organization better equipped. Clear responsibilities, useful management tools and stronger governance help the Board and staff sustain the progress after my engagement ends.

03 / Sustain
Capacity that lasts
